Job Summary

Ensuring accurate and timely wage garnishment payments, the full-time Garnishment Specialist will manage garnishment orders, maintain payroll system rules, and resolve processing issues in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and set up all garnishment orders, including preparation of necessary correspondence
• Maintain garnishment rules in the payroll system, ensuring compliance with state regulations
• Process reports to automate responses and manage inquiries from courts, agencies, and employees

Required qualifications

• General knowledge of payroll functions and processing, including garnishments
• Proficient in PC spreadsheet applications
• Experience with troubleshooting and analysis in payroll systems
• Ability to engage with external contacts such as courts and collection agencies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
