Garnishment Specialist

Job Summary

Ensuring accurate and timely wage garnishment payments, the full-time Garnishment Specialist will manage garnishment orders, maintain payroll system rules, and resolve processing issues while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and set up all garnishment orders, including preparation of orders and correspondence for scanning
• Maintain garnishment rules in the payroll system and collaborate with the Sr. Payroll Systems Support Specialist for accurate employee wage withholding
• Process reports for automating answer letters and interrogatory responses while managing garnishment screens and deadlines

Required qualifications

• General knowledge of payroll functions and processing, including bookkeeping, payroll tax, fringe benefits, and garnishments
• Proficient use of PC spreadsheet applications
