Gas Engine Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reciprocating Gas Engine SME.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and improve uptime, MTBF, and overall system availability across deployed gas engine assets
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues to maintain high-reliability operations
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure operational readiness and eliminate single points of failure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 7-10 years of experience with reciprocating gas engines in power generation or mission-critical environments
• Deep expertise with engine platforms such as CAT, Waukesha, or Jenbacher
• Strong understanding of engine controls, SCADA systems, and predictive maintenance methodologies
• Experience operating in Tier III/IV environments with strict uptime requirements
