Job Summary

A company is looking for a Gastroenterology ProFee Coder (E/M & Surgical) to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review provider documentation to accurately assign professional fee CPT and ICD-10-CM codes
• Code E/M services and physician-performed gastroenterology procedures in compliance with guidelines
• Identify documentation gaps and assist with claim edits and coding-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Completion of an accredited medical coding program or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of ProFee gastroenterology coding experience preferred
• Experience with physician billing systems and EHR platforms
• Preferred certifications include CPC, CCS-P, or specialty certification in gastroenterology coding
