Gastroenterology Therapeutic Area Lead

Job Summary

To support the expansion of the Gastroenterology portfolio, the full-time Therapeutic Area Lead will serve as a scientific and strategic subject matter expert in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), collaborating with various teams to drive therapeutic strategy and operational excellence in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supports indication-specific strategy planning and implementation across the assigned therapeutic area
• Compiles datasets and performance metrics related to core strategic capabilities and key studies
• Engages with client development and proposal preparations from a therapeutic area perspective

Required qualifications

• College or university degree in Life Sciences with a clinical qualification (MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, or equivalent)
• At least 6 years of experience in Gastroenterology, particularly in clinical research or development
• Direct clinical/patient-care experience within Gastroenterology and/or Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)
• Hands-on experience with clinical trial design and execution
• Demonstrated expertise in Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease
