Gastroenterology Training Director

Job Summary

Leading the training strategy process, the full-time remote Associate Director, Field Training - Gastroenterology will manage the development and delivery of sales training curricula, coach the franchise training team, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to enhance the capabilities of the US Sales Organization.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of performance-focused training curricula
• Develop and mentor the franchise training team to ensure success in current roles and future leadership opportunities
• Build effective relationships with Senior Commercial Management and other teams to support AbbVie learning initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• 8-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales and sales management
• Technical degree preferred or a degree in business or related field combined with relevant training and sales experience
• Experience in marketing and/or commercial training preferred
• Knowledge of instructional design systems or extensive experience in training and curriculum design desirable
