Job Summary

To support API lifecycle modernization, the full-time remote Gateway Engineer will design, develop, validate, and maintain API gateway automation workflows and configuration-as-code artifacts while enabling developer self-service capabilities.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain API gateway configurations, policies, and deployment artifacts
  • Build reusable API onboarding and lifecycle components using automation patterns and scripts
  • Support developer portal capabilities, including API documentation and access request workflows
Required qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in API, integration, or backend engineering
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with API gateway or API management platforms
  • Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API documentation
  • Experience implementing API security controls such as OAuth2 and JWT
  • Proficiency in scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or JavaScript/Node.js
