GCP Application Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GCP Application Engineer to modernize and consolidate its application landscape into Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and support existing applications while transitioning them to cloud-native solutions on GCP
• Conduct application assessments to identify legacy dependencies and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align modernization goals and support project management activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or 5 years' equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years in a relevant application development role
• At least 1 year of experience with GCP and a strong interest in cloud-native development
• Proven experience in application development with C#, .NET, and SQL
• High level of personal initiative and accountability in managing tasks and priorities
