GCP Certified Cloud Architect

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Principal Cloud Architect will design complex cloud solutions for internal and external clients, acting as a trusted advisor to help enterprise clients implement Google Cloud solutions while maintaining GCP Certified Cloud Architect status.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern technical standards and best practices for Google Cloud Platform implementations
• Design solution architecture based on GCP services and present technical recommendations to clients
• Act as a single point of contact for clients on consulting engagements and mentor junior developers/consultants

Required qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architecture/design within relevant technology disciplines
• Experience with cloud platforms and migrations, preferably GCP, but extensive AWS or Azure experience is acceptable
• Java development experience and familiarity with JavaScript frameworks
• Ability to obtain/maintain GCP Certification, specifically the Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification within 6 months of hire
