Job Summary
To design and govern enterprise-scale cloud architectures, the full-time remote GCP Cloud Architect will leverage deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform to set cloud strategy, drive GCP-native solution design, and ensure compliance with FedRAMP High across a large federal program portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of GCP-native enterprise architectures covering IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS workloads
- Architect solutions leveraging core GCP services and oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform
- Provide architectural leadership for containerization and managed database services on GCP while ensuring compliance with security standards
Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of cloud architecture experience with 5+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise
- Expert-level knowledge of GCP core services, including compute, networking, storage, and security
- Proficiency in IaC tools, particularly Terraform, and experience with GCP networking and security services
- Strong experience designing containerized and Kubernetes-based workloads on GKE and Anthos
- Knowledge of FedRAMP High, FISMA, and NIST 800-53 compliance requirements in cloud environments
