GCP Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer for a year-long, remote contract position in Denver, CO.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy VPC environments and cloud instances as designed by the Cloud Architect
• Collaborate with the NetSecOps team to establish necessary security controls and automate processes
• Create monitoring and reporting capabilities, and act as a Tier-2 escalation point for cloud-based system issues

Required Qualifications

• Google Foundational certification
• At least five years of infrastructure development experience with GCP services
• Five years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure deployments in enterprise environments
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
