GCP Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GCP Cloud Engineer to improve and simplify its global infrastructure environment across Google Cloud Platform and on-premises data centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide solutions for cloud infrastructure across the enterprise, including hosting, computing, databases, and networks
• Design, build, and maintain GCP infrastructure to support high-performance, scalable, and secure cloud-native applications
• Monitor and optimize the performance of GCP resources while troubleshooting and resolving related issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in IT or technology-related disciplines
• 5+ years of experience working with cloud-native GCP and hybrid cloud environments
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or similar languages
• 2+ years of experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager
