GCP Cloud Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GCP Cloud Lead to oversee vulnerability remediation initiatives on Google Cloud Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead vulnerability triage and remediation activities across containers, VMs, and application dependencies in GCP environments
• Drive updates to operating systems, base container images, and application dependencies using automated CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate remediation activities and provide technical guidance on cloud security best practices

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux/Windows operating systems
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Solid understanding of container security, OS patching, and vulnerability management workflows
• Demonstrated proficiency in using enterprise-approved AI tools for productivity and documentation improvement
