GCP Data Architect Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Consultant (GCP Data Architect).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery and implementation phases for data modernization initiatives in GCP using BigQuery
• Design and implement a scalable three-tier data architecture, including raw, curated, and reporting layers
• Evaluate and recommend tools for data cataloging, metadata management, and automate processes using Python and AI technologies

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering, with at least 3 years in GCP BigQuery
• Proven experience in designing and implementing tiered data architectures for analytics
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and DBT for data transformation and automation
• Experience with data governance practices, including lineage and metadata management
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
