GCP Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GCP Data Engineer with a healthcare background.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design GCP-based data lakehouse and define data ingestion and processing strategies
• Build and manage data ingestion pipelines for clinical and non-clinical datasets
• Establish data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with healthcare data standards

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years in data architecture, engineering, or data platform roles
• Strong expertise in GCP data stack including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
• Hands-on experience with data ingestion, pipeline orchestration, and transformations
• Deep understanding of clinical data standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM
• Solid understanding of cloud networking and hybrid connectivity
