GCP Data Engineer
Job Summary
Focusing on building large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical architectures, the full-time remote GCP Data Engineer will assess, plan, and drive enterprise migration programs across data and cloud platforms while optimizing legacy systems for clients.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines within the GCP ecosystem
- Drive enterprise migration programs to modernize technology landscapes and enable scalable architectures
- Optimize query performance and ensure efficient data processing using GCP services
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with a minimum of 3 years on GCP
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or Java/Scala for data processing
- Experience with GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer
- Solid understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and schema design
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
