GCP Licensed AI Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Cloud Database Engineer, the contract GCP Licensed AI Cloud Engineer will work remotely to define strategy and architecture for cloud databases, lead AI integration initiatives, and establish enterprise standards for metadata management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption of Gemini Enterprise for query generation, debugging, and schema optimization
• Define and implement patterns integrating Model Context Protocol (MCP) with databases for contextual AI interactions
• Partner with AI/ML teams to embed machine learning and GenAI into data platform strategies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years in IT, with 5+ years in database engineering focused on GCP and AI enablement
• Practical experience in two coding languages or advanced expertise in one
• Hands-on experience with GCP databases such as Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, and BigQuery
• Knowledge of GCP IAM, encryption, and CI/CD practices
