GCP Platform Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GCP Platform Engineer to join their infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize cloud consumption for cost efficiency, manage budgeting and reporting tools, and oversee resource allocation
• Administer IAM roles and ensure cloud deployments comply with security standards and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain monitoring solutions and configure alerting systems to ensure platform health and availability

Required Qualifications

• Deep technical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager
• Strong analytical skills to interpret billing data and implement cost-saving strategies
• Experience managing IAM hierarchies and Organization Policy Services
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging
