Job Summary
To support organizations in achieving compliance with the EU and UK GDPR, the contracted GDPR Compliance Consultant will conduct privacy assessments, develop compliance programs, and implement governance processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct GDPR and UK GDPR readiness assessments and develop compliance programs
- Prepare and maintain Records of Processing Activities (ROPA) and perform Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
- Advise clients on international data transfer requirements and design processes for Data Subject Rights (DSAR) requests
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Privacy, Law, Business, or a related field
- Five or more years of GDPR consulting or privacy compliance experience
- Demonstrated experience conducting GDPR readiness assessments and preparing ROPA documentation
- Experience drafting and reviewing Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
- Strong working knowledge of EU GDPR and UK GDPR regulations
