Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Genealogist Research Manager to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for leading research projects in the U.S. Mid-South and South regions, managing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality research deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 30-60 client projects, defining scope, budget, and necessary resources
• Supervise research to ensure accuracy and efficiency, meeting company standards and client expectations
• Provide coaching and feedback to research staff while collaborating with client relationship managers for project success

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in professional genealogical research
• Bachelor's or master's degree in History, English, or a related field
• Specialization in U.S. Mid-South and Southern states research
• Proficiency in applying DNA test results to genealogical research problems
• Experience managing multiple projects and communicating effectively with clients
