Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Genealogist Researcher for a full-time remote position, specializing in U.S. genealogical research and lineage societies, who will conduct expert research, produce detailed reports, and collaborate with Research Managers to ensure client satisfaction and project success.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct expert genealogical research primarily focused on the 18th through 20th centuries for lineage societies
• Produce well-written research logs and reports, ensuring they meet company and industry quality standards
• Collaborate with Research Managers to set client expectations and provide regular updates throughout research sessions

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' professional genealogical research experience
• Bachelor's or master's degree in History, Family History, English, or a related field
• Specialized expertise in U.S. genealogical research with a focus on lineage societies
• Proficient in applying DNA test results to genealogical research
• Advanced knowledge of research methodologies and evidence analysis
