General Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-driven General Accountant, this temporary role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, month-end close activities, and cash management, with potential for full-time conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting tasks and month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support the accounts payable process, including invoice entry and approvals, using systems like Bill.com and SAP S/4 Hana
• Assist with cash management activities, including bank statement uploads and reconciliations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of general accounting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4 Hana and NetSuite
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
• Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with cloud-based financial tools
