General Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a hands-on, detail-driven General Accountant for a temporary position who will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, cash management, and month-end close activities while reporting to the Accounting Manager in a fast-paced, scaling AI software environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting tasks and month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support the accounts payable process, ensuring timely invoice entry, approval workflows, and payments
• Assist with cash management activities, including bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate vendor records

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of general accounting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4 Hana and procure-to-pay systems like Bill.com and Concur
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
• Intermediate Excel skills and comfort with cloud-based financial tools
