General Accountant

Job Summary

To support financial operations, the full-time salaried General Accountant will manage consortium-wide accounting and reporting, assist with financial audits, and streamline processes while working onsite in Juneau, AK or Renton, WA, or remotely across the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial reports and support annual external audits
• Collaborate with corporate departments to enhance financial operations and improve user experiences with accounting processes
• Manage fixed asset accounting and assist in the integration of new business units and technologies

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare or accounting setting, preferably with tribal and non-profit clients
• Experience in financial reporting, including grants reporting and financial analysis
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across all organizational levels
