General Accountant
Job Summary
To support day-to-day accounting operations, the temporary General Accountant will manage accounts payable processes, cash management, and month-end close activities while ensuring financial integrity in a fast-paced AI software environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support the accounts payable process, including invoice entry and timely payments
- Manage cash activity, including bank reconciliations and cash matching
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in the software or technology industry
- Experience with ERP systems and procure-to-pay systems
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and core accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with cloud-based financial tools
