General Accounting Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the Dealer Owned Warranty Company accounting team, the full-time remote General Accounting Associate will prepare monthly financial statements, reconcile accounts, and ensure regulatory compliance for assigned warranty companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and book monthly financial statements, including cash transactions and investment activity
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and calculate financial ratios for regulatory reviews
• Act as a liaison between various stakeholders to support compliance with insurance laws and regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Experience preparing or supporting financial statements
• Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment
