Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Correspondence Specialist responsible for reviewing and responding to general inquiries and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and respond to incoming written inquiries that are non-specific and/or unrelated to mortgage servicing
  • Compose responses using standard templates and collaborate with other business units for resolution
  • Provide support by drafting letters for Legal and other departments and assist the Dispute Team as needed
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; college education preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of related mortgage banking or financial industry experience required
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of relevant industry-specific software packages preferred
