Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to join their team remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee corporate legal matters, including compliance, governance, and regulatory requirements
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts
• Provide strategic legal advice on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Counsel, preferably with consulting firm experience
• Expertise in corporate law, commercial contracts, and mergers & acquisitions
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations in the biotech or life sciences sector
• Background in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership
