General Counsel

Job Summary

Serving as a strategic partner, the remote full-time General Counsel will manage complex corporate legal issues, advise on governance and compliance, and drive IPO readiness while protecting the organization against legal risks in the cybersecurity landscape.

Key responsibilities:

• Guide the executive team and Board of Directors on governance best practices and high-stakes business issues
• Navigate the cybersecurity legal landscape to ensure compliance and manage risks effectively
• Maintain IPO readiness by preparing corporate histories and diligence materials for potential market entry

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience leading a corporate legal function, preferably in technology or cybersecurity
• Extensive experience advising a Board of Directors and managing equity administration
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity legal regulations, including data privacy and compliance frameworks
• Proven track record in protecting intellectual property through global strategies
• Experience in building scalable compliance frameworks for international operations
