General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a General Counsel to oversee legal and regulatory matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee the Legal team
• Establish company policies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Manage IPO readiness, M&A activities, and intellectual property portfolio

Required Qualifications:

• Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school
• Minimum of 15 years of legal experience, including people management
• Admission in good standing with at least one state bar
• Experience with venture-backed companies and investment management
• In-house experience with a fintech or financial service company is desirable
