General Education Instructor

Job Summary

To support student success in a remote environment, the part-time General Education Instructor will prepare and deliver high-quality instruction, engage in program improvement processes, and participate in various student affairs initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lessons and deliver instruction using diverse teaching methodologies to foster student engagement and success
• Maintain regular communication with students regarding their progress and provide academic advising and support
• Assess student learning outcomes and contribute to program improvement processes based on student achievement data

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in the subject area or a related field with 18+ graduate hours in the subject area
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and any software required for course delivery
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues
• Capability to perform basic calculations relevant to course material and assessments
• Experience in maintaining a positive and professional classroom environment
