General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary

To drive the month-end close process, the contract General Ledger Accountant will take full ownership of the General Ledger, manage complex account reconciliations, and ensure GAAP compliance in a fully remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month-end close process and manage critical segments of the close cycle
• Perform complex account reconciliations and intercompany eliminations
• Streamline reporting workflows and provide high-level analysis to senior leadership

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
• Extensive hands-on experience with NetSuite
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to build complex templates and manage large datasets
• Strong background in consolidation processes and technical accounting
