Job Summary
A company is looking for a General Liability Claims Assistant I.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial investigations of claims and verify data entry into claims systems
- Research and gather evidence, including records and interviews with relevant parties
- Examine, process, and pay claims while preparing timely reports for clients
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- One year of office experience, preferably in insurance claims
- At least one year of experience using Microsoft Windows and Office applications
- Knowledge of handling public entity liability claims is a plus
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
