General Manager - Aerospace and Defense

Job Summary

Driving the growth of a new aerospace & defense business, the full-time General Manager - Aerospace & Defense will be responsible for P&L management, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute the strategy for market expansion, including customer acquisition and partnerships
• Own the P&L for the aerospace & defense business, managing revenue targets and operational performance
• Establish relationships with engineering leaders and government stakeholders to translate engineering challenges into product requirements

Required qualifications

• Proven experience owning P&L for a business unit or major program
• Track record of taking products or programs from inception to significant growth
• Experience negotiating and closing complex deals with multiple stakeholders
• Strong relationships within the defense industry and familiarity with government organizations
• Eligibility for a US government security clearance; existing clearance is a plus
