General Manager, Scholarship Programs

Job Summary

Owning the growth and operations of the Federal and Alabama Scholarship Tax Credit Programs, the full-time General Manager, Scholarship Programs will manage relationships with Scholarship Granting Organizations, drive corporate donor outreach, and oversee paid acquisition strategies to unlock educational access for working-class families in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage relationships with Federal and Alabama Scholarship Granting Organizations, setting funding amounts and timelines
• Drive outreach to corporate prospects capable of utilizing significant state income tax credits and build individual donor growth
• Launch and oversee Primer's in-house growth engine through paid acquisition, landing pages, and creative campaigns

Required qualifications

• Proven experience in operations, marketing, and external-facing roles with a track record of revenue generation
• Strong negotiation skills with external partners and stakeholders
• Experience directing paid acquisition strategies, with an understanding of well-performing channels
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment and work independently as a team of one initially
• Passion for unlocking educational opportunities for underserved communities
