General Studies Adjunct Instructor
Job Summary
Providing asynchronous instruction for HUM1550: Leadership Development, the fully remote General Studies Adjunct Instructor will prepare courses, develop supplemental materials, and evaluate student progress while ensuring adherence to faculty expectations and promoting student success.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze assessment data related to student learning outcomes
- Maintain an equitable system of student evaluation in accordance with the course syllabus
- Meet all faculty expectations, including grading deadlines and student outreach
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field or a master's degree in another field with 18 graduate-level semester hours in a relevant field
- Prior teaching experience in an online environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Canvas LMS preferred
- Terminal degree preferred
