General Surgery Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time, remote General Surgery Advisor, the role will provide clinical and strategic guidance on surgical workflows, patient care pathways, and digital health solutions to enhance healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on perioperative care, surgical optimization, and digital health initiatives
• Advise on surgeon workflows, quality improvement initiatives, and technology adoption in healthcare
• Participate in advisory meetings, offering recommendations based on clinical and operational experience

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with experience in general surgery
• Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery preferred
• Experience in minimally invasive surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and surgical quality improvement preferred
• Strong understanding of surgical workflows and healthcare operations
• Ability to commit approximately 1-2 hours per month for advisory activities
