Generative AI Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative AI-driven automation solutions, the remote contract Generative AI Data Engineer will design and implement data pipelines, integrate Generative AI technologies, and enhance analytics and reporting platforms, with occasional travel to Washington, D.C.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines in AWS using various services such as S3, RDS/SQL Server, and Glue
• Develop ETL/ELT processes to transfer data between multiple systems, including DynamoDB and SQL Server
• Leverage Generative AI services to automate data quality checks and enhance ingestion processes

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• 2+ years of data engineering and automation experience
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS/Azure CLIs
• Familiarity with Apache Flume, Kafka, and data ingestion
• Knowledge of Generative AI frameworks such as AWS Bedrock and Azure OpenAI
