Generator Proposals Engineer

Job Summary

Producing accurate project estimates and technical clarifications, the full-time remote Generator Proposals Engineer will support the Sales Team by developing conceptual designs, reviewing proposals, and ensuring compliance with specifications while managing multiple tenders simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Produce project estimates, bill of materials, and cost build-ups for proposals
• Write technical and commercial clarifications for tender submissions and support the Sales Team with technical input
• Review M&E specifications to ensure compliance and provide ongoing technical clarifications throughout the tender lifecycle

Required qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical/electrical systems, with power generation experience preferred
• Confidence in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously with a methodical approach
• Full UK driving licence required
• Strong analytical skills to develop clear, cost-effective solutions
