Genetic Counseling Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Genetic Counseling Assistant (GCA).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage results to be reported to patients in collaboration with the Genetic Counseling team
• Obtain and distribute results and records to genetic counselors
• Perform various administrative duties and communicate with clients as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the healthcare industry required
• 2-3 years' experience in a laboratory or clinical genetics setting preferred
• Familiarity with genetic concepts highly preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
