Genetic Genealogy Product Manager

Job Summary

To shape the product strategy and roadmap for genetic genealogy tools, the full-time remote Genetic Genealogy Product Manager will manage product discovery, collaborate with engineering and design teams, and create engaging user experiences that integrate DNA insights with historical records.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continuous product discovery through rapid prototyping and user interviews to validate assumptions
• Collaborate with engineering to build a genetic genealogy platform, including APIs and front-end components
• Develop a vision for integrating DNA insights with historical records, focusing on customer needs and trends

Required qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience delivering successful consumer products
• Proven track record in developing recommendation systems at scale
• Experience with agentic workflows and writing agents for product discovery
• Bachelor's degree required; master's degree and a background in STEM, especially genomics, are a plus
• Strong collaboration skills with Data Science, backend engineering, and UX design teams
