Genomics Program Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing various projects across Molecular Genetic and Genomic Pathology laboratories, the full-time Genomics Program Manager will manage clinical operations, coordinate development work, and ensure HIPAA compliance to improve patient healthcare outcomes remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, requirements, and timelines
• Manage and coordinate the development of the MGGP program, including launching new assays and quality improvement projects
• Monitor project progress and ensure completion of targets while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• BS in science, data science, computer science, biomedicine, or a related field; MS or PhD preferred
• Eight or more years of related work experience
• Strong project management skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
• Familiarity with scientific software development and data management systems
• Working knowledge of laboratory techniques and advanced laboratory processes
