Genomics Program Manager

Job Summary

Overseeing various projects across Molecular Genetic and Genomic Pathology laboratories, the full-time salaried Genomics Program Manager will manage clinical operations, coordinate development work, and ensure HIPAA compliance while working remotely in the USA.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project goals, requirements, and timelines
• Coordinate the development and execution of laboratory projects, including new assay launches and quality improvement initiatives
• Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion of targets and compliance with regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• BS in science, data science, computer science, biomedicine, or a related field; MS or PhD preferred
• Eight or more years of related work experience
• Strong project management skills and experience with data management systems
• Familiarity with genomic laboratory techniques and scientific software development
• Understanding of HIPAA and IT security standards
