Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant I to manage accounts payable and purchase order processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversees vendor invoices and expense reports, ensuring accurate entry into the accounts payable system
• Manages vendor payables and processes weekly payment disbursements while resolving outstanding payments
• Performs monthly bank and investment reconciliations and assists with month-end financial closing processes

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• One to three years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Working knowledge of GAAP and applicable tax laws and regulations
• Knowledge of accounting systems, including general ledger and accounts payable
• Intermediate Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
