Job Summary

To support a package delivery and supply chain management company, the hybrid contract Accountant will apply customer payments, reconcile accounts, and analyze customer credits while working in Alpharetta, GA.

Key responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately and timely to accounts receivable balances
• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accurate account balances and resolve outstanding discrepancies
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable

Required qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounts receivable, cash application, or accounting experience preferred
• Understanding of accounts receivable processes, account reconciliations, and billing and/or collections
• Experience applying customer payments through various methods including ACH and credit card transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
