Job Summary

A company is looking for an Architectural Historian to join their Cultural Resources group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct historic resource field surveys and background research on historic resources
  • Evaluate historic resources for the National Register of Historic Places and assess project-related effects
  • Prepare technical reports and maintain project schedules while serving as the point of contact for historic resources
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in History, Architectural History, Historic Preservation, or a closely related field
  • 4+ years of professional experience as an Architectural Historian, including conducting surveys and technical writing
  • Must meet the Secretary of the Interior's Qualification Standards as an Architectural Historian or Historian
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company policy
  • Knowledge of Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
