Job Summary
To support surgical operations, the full-time Georgia Licensed Assistant Nurse Manager will manage nursing staff, oversee recruitment and training, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while working onsite in Rome, GA.
Key responsibilities
- Manages recruitment, hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations for nursing staff
- Fosters a culture of psychological safety and promotes evidence-based practices to ensure quality patient care
- Prepares the unit for audits and maintains compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
Required qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (required)
- Related clinical experience in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of nursing, clinical, and patient statutory policies and regulations
