Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel to provide legal support for corporate and commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and advice on corporate and commercial agreements and transactions
• Review, draft, negotiate, and interpret various legal agreements while assessing legal risks
• Collaborate with management and cross-functional partners, managing outside counsel as necessary

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3 to 7 years of law practice experience in law firm and corporate settings
• Transactional legal experience, including corporate and commercial agreements
• Ability to assess legal risk and provide business-oriented legal advice
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
