Job Summary

To support mental health and substance abuse care, the full-time Georgia Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician will perform clinical reviews, assess care appropriateness, and manage prior authorization reviews in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluates members' treatment for mental health and substance abuse to ensure medical appropriateness of services
• Performs prior authorization reviews in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Conducts concurrent reviews of inpatient behavioral health cases for treatment needs and discharge planning

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field required
• Active Georgia Licensed Clinician or Compact Nursing License required
• 2-4 years of related experience in behavioral health
• Clinical knowledge of mental health and substance abuse treatment plans preferred
• Experience working with healthcare providers in a behavioral health context preferred
