Job Summary
To support a growing claims team, the full-time Georgia Licensed Casualty Specialist will conduct investigations to analyze coverage and determine liability while managing claims and maintaining accurate records in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plans and conducts investigations to assess liability and damages associated with claims
- Evaluates policy coverage and communicates with insureds, claimants, and medical staff regarding claims processing
- Maintains detailed records and handles administrative duties related to the processing and payment of claims
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalency required; a 2-year degree or higher in a related field is preferred
- At least one year of automobile liability experience is required
- Minimum of 2 years of previous auto liability claim handling experience or 1 year of bodily injury claims experience preferred
- Must hold or be able to secure and maintain adjuster license(s) within 60 days of employment
- Knowledge of applicable insurance statutes, regulations, and case law is essential
